Hi! I’m Charity a licensed mental health counselor and certified brainspotting practitioner. I see clients through my private practice based in the West Village, NYC, or remote throughout the state of New York. I specialize in helping individuals navigate the effects of trauma, overwhelming stress, and emotional challenges using a holistic, mind-body approach. By combining Brainspotting, somatic therapy, parts work, contemplative practices and trauma-informed care with proven therapeutic techniques, I support clients in addressing the root causes of emotional distress rather than simply managing symptoms. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, burnout, stress management, or the lasting impact of complex trauma, therapy can provide a safe space to heal, reconnect with yourself, and move forward with greater confidence and ease.
Welcome,

I use evidenced backed and experiential modalities to curate the best treatment for your goals.
-
Individual therapy is a space dedicated to you—your experiences, your challenges, and your growth. We work together to explore what’s feeling difficult, build insight, and develop tools to help you navigate life with more clarity and confidence.
-
Brainspotting is a focused, brain-body therapy that helps process and release deeply held emotional pain and trauma.
-
Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) is an emotion-focused, attachment-based approach that helps people process difficult experiences and access their innate capacity for healing. Rooted in the idea that transformation happens through safe, attuned connection, AEDP supports clients in exploring core emotions, reducing defenses, and building a stronger sense of self.
-
Somatic therapy focuses on the connection between the mind and body, helping you tune into physical sensations to better understand and process your emotions. This approach gently brings awareness to how stress, trauma, and experiences are held in the body.
-
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) combines the therapeutic use of ketamine with guided psychotherapy to support deep emotional healing and insight. In a safe, structured setting, ketamine can help reduce mental barriers, allowing you to access and process thoughts, emotions, and experiences that may feel difficult to reach through traditional therapy alone.
